Recently Business week further added to the Verizon iPhone rumor saga by floating the rumor that somewhat mythical Verizon’s iPhone will be launched somewhere between January and February. Business week added their part in the Verizon iPhone rumor heap that Apple is currently planning to launch Verizon based phone after the CES and before the Valentine’s event. Quoting a person familiar with the Cupertino based Tech giant plan Business Week said:

“Apple (APPL) is likely to hold its one of the most anticipated product intros for announcing the latest version of the iPhone that will work along with Verizon’s mobile network. Moreover, customers are also expected to rush to this new platform leaving the AT&T that is at present the sole U.S based distributor in the country.”

So it means that users will just have to leave AT&T to the other network, where network traffic will be lesser and congestion and support will be good. It is for sure that AT&T will definitely lose some of its customer base to the Verizon, plus other mobile manufacturers in the market will also lose their customers to the iPhone on Verizon. Business Week has also pointed out that it is expected till the time T-Mobile U.S and Sprint do not jump on the iPhone bandwagon, Verizon and AT&T will be a dominant force. So the question arises here, will Verizon be enough as a carrier choice for the customers or should Apple take the inevitable step of launching iPhone on all the major Mobile carriers.
