How to Use Audio Scrubbing on iPhone and iPad

So if you have an iPhone or iPad and you listen to a Podcast on it, then sometimes you want to skip to a certain portion. Luckily iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch all provide an easy control that can enable users to scrub forward or backward during their listening to Podcast or songs mood.

When Cupertino based tech giant last year introduced iOS 3, they included a very much needed option in the iPod app called as audio scrubbing. In today’s iPhone tip, I am going to quickly illustrate how you can employ this stunning feature and have better dimensions of control over the contents that you are listening to. So here is a brief rundown of the tip that you might have overlooked while using your iPod App:

All a user has to do is tap and hold the seek program slider at the top of the ‘Now Playing’ Tab once he is using the iPod App on his iDevice. From here, you can slide the fingers either on the left side or on the right side to adjust to that particular spot where you want to be in the Playback.

Once you are scrubbing through what you are listening and by just moving your finger down you can have a different level of scrubbing, that is either Hi-speed, Quarter Speed and Fine scrubbing. Moreover, you can also jump back 30 seconds to any other level by hitting the ’30’ button below the iPod seek bar. You can rebound to 2 minutes by tapping on the 30 second button for like 4 times.
