Facepad for iPad: A complete alternative to Facebook application

A good news for all the iDevice users especially the Facebook fans, recently an app named as Facepad for iPad has hit the Apple App store. Facepad is a full fledge Facebook based application that is loaded with some quite cool features. According to many App store analysts, it may be the type of Facebook application that all the iPad users have been longing for.

Facebook has made it pretty much clear on many occasions that they are not planning to launch an iPad specific Facebook application. Many of users have complained that browsing Facebook on iPad through Safari Web browser is not as fun filled as it will be on a dedicated app. Although, apps like Friendly for Facebook provide a good Facebook usage experience but it is not as good as an app, as on an iPhone or iPod Touch.

Facepad for iPad surely seems to be a right step but it doesn’t mean that the improvement factor is to be overlooked. One definite improvement is that it doesn’t house the option to upload your videos or photos on the Social networking platform. Facepad has a very catchy interface that draws user’s attention to it. The UI is pretty rich graphically and it reminds you of other default iOS apps and Twitter for iPad app.

Right now developers have released version 1.0 and it seems to have a good potential with it. Although, app has some bugs like the disappearing of the Photo window but an update will definitely fix these bugs. Let’s hope that developers equip this app with some good and useful features.
