How To Invite Users to the Google Calendar Event

Google Calendar is a much enhanced way of managing your day to day tasks and managing our work loads and our appointments. Since the smartphone phenomenon has become so common, all the software power houses have been releasing miniature versions of their most popular applications and Google has been a front runner in this process. First, it was the Google Voice app and now its Google calendar that is making waves across the iPhone and iPad.

So today’s How To tip is for all the iPhone users who have been wondering, how to invite someone to their iPad or iPhone calendar. If you are a user of Google Calendar on iPad or iPhone and you are planning to setup a meeting for work, or friends get together, then by using MobileMe or any other exchange account (it can be the Gmail set-up as Exchange), you can invite friends or any one by sending an invitation through your Google Calendar.

So here is the procedure of how to invite someone via MobileMe or Exchange:

  • Tap the Google Calendar App
  • Now Tap the ‘+’ Sign at the top right
  • Enter the information and the title of the Calendar event you normally add for your meetings
  • Now scroll down and tap all the invitees (if invitees are not there then you have to make sure that meeting is setup using Exchange Calendar or a MobileMe
  • Once all the invitees are added then you have to tap ‘Done’
  • Tapping done on the Add Event page will do the job
