How To Install Android 2.2.1 Codenamed Froyo on Your iPhone 3G

What Bootlace does is that it enables users to install Android 2.2.1 on iDevices including iPhone 2G and iPhone 3G via Cydia installer.
Requirements for Using Bootlace to Install Android 2.2.1
§ iPhone 3G having a firmware ranging from iOS 4.1 till 3.1.3
§ iPhone Second Generation with firmware iOS 3.1.3
§ iPhone to be Jailbroken and Bootlace supports the following tools: Pwnage Tool,Redsn0w
Installing Android on Your iPhone using Bootlace
- Open the Cydia installer. Go to the Manage Tab. Then to the sources and add on the following source:
Http:/repo.neonkoala.co.uk
- Once the above stated link is inserted as a Repo, find the Search tab in Cydia and find Bootlace and install the particular tweak
- Once the installation is done, click on the Home Button on your iPhone to close the Cydia installer and start Bootlace from springboard
- Bootlace will automatically download the required Kernel and then patch it
- Now Reboot your iPhone
- Open the Bootlace again and Tap iDroid tab at the bottom of the screen and hit the Install button
- Tap OK. Now bootlace will install the Android on user’s iPhone
- Once the Android is completely installed, press OpeniBoot Tab and hit install button again
- Lastly, you have to configure the installation, make a choice and hit the Save button.
