The popular sportswear and apparel company Nike has recently released an update to its Nike+GPS feature in iDevices. The latest updated version of the Application is the integration of social networking platform. The latest update allows the users to share their Runs and Jogs via Twitter or Facebook; this integration with the social networking platforms will further give this already interesting Application a new look and makeover.

In addition to this social networking add-on, the latest version also introduces the feature that is called as Cheer Me on. This latest feature allows the users to post on the social networking hubs like Facebook and Twitter to share that they are going for a run or a jog and then during the run they receive mid-run encouragements. Because, whenever a user posts his/her status that he is going for a run, the friends of that user can comment and those comment will be received as a form of Mid-run encouragements.

Other new feature incorporated in the Application is the option that allows the users to view their best run within the interface of the Application.

Nike+GPS Application is primarily designed for iPhone users, but its version is also available for the iPod Touch users. But for the iPod touch users, the capability of mapping is not available. Nike+GPS app requires the latest firmware iOS 4.1 or higher to run and is available from App store for download. The price tag of the App is $2 and is available in the utilities category of App Store.
