Limera1n iOS 4.1 Jailbreak released

Well Apple’s latest iPhone 4 has been an instant hit with all the iDevices users. Apple latest firmware iOS 4 has also been a success story as far as inclusion of features is considered. Apple these days is on a roller coaster ride with their upcoming 2G Apple TV ready to hit the market and their rumored Music Subscription service of iTunes is also in the news lately.

So let’s focus back to the Apple’s latest firmware iOS 4.1, recently a famous jailbreak expert group plus an application and tweak developer for iDevices, Geohot has released Limera1n which is a Jailbreak for the iOS 4.1 for all the iDevices ranging from iPhone models including iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS. Plus it is also valid for Apple’s tablet device iPad and both the latest generations of iPod Touch including the iPod Touch 3G and iPod Touch 4G.

Limera1n according to the developers is an untethered Jailbreak for the Apple’s latest firmware for all the iDevices. The iDevices which Limera1n supports are as follows

iPhone 4
iPhone 3GS (those which are new Bootrom support broker> Fix is already pending)
iPod Touch (3G & 4G)
iPad

Well this good news is for the Windows OS only because Limera1n is only available for the windows Platform. Mac and Linux users will have to wait for sometime before they can get their hands on the Limera1n.
