So, what’s new with iPad? Well, a version of twitter has been officially released for iPad and the cool thing is, it’s totally free for download from App Store. Now, this makes Twitter App a universal application meaning you can tweet from iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch without having to log in to the website.

The developers seem to have gone all out and have added an amazing new interface for Twitter iPad version. It includes panes and multi touch gesture which seamlessly integrates with iPad and makes it optimum Twitter client for iPad.

So, how does Twitter for iPad differ from Twitter for iPhone and what’s the entire ruckus about? When you download twitter for iPad you not only get the ability to tweet, but also you get access to web pages, photos and videos. Just let your fingers do the work and simply tap a tweet and immediately a window will open displaying each and every snippet of information linked to the selected tweet. You can shove aside the panes and surf through all the related content smoothly.

If you find that way too conventional then simply pinch a tweet and it will reveal related info and action associated to it. You can enlarge the tweet with two fingers to see the replies.

This is just a start and one can expect great many features as this app would get mature.
