Though, iPad and iPhone have big screen, still typing on them is not as easy as it is on traditional keyboard. However, if you follow keyboard shortcuts, you can increase your typing speed on iPad and iPhone. Here is Lesson 1 to achieve the maximum speed.
- If you need to type special characters with unique pronunciations such as letter à or è, you just have to strike the related key plainly for some time, which will ensure a pop-up of all the connected list of special characters from which you have to choose your desired letter. Releasing the key prior to making a selection would make the options disappear altogether.
- If you are planning to write text straightforwardly in an email message, strike the ‘space bar’ on the keyboard in double measure and it will end up putting a dot or a period itself which will be followed by a ‘space’ usually. Next letter that you would be typing would already be in upper case without having to press shift key.
- iPhone keyboard is mechanically friendly with apostrophes. If you want to type the word doesn’t, you simple need to type the alphabets, and apostrophe would be incorporated by the keyboard itself.
- The numeral keyboard has $ selected by default, if you want to type in any other currency, what you need to do is hold the key and a list of alternate options would pop up without any other input from you.
